At Kent College we removed existing surface, then installed two timber frame (with steel feet) double swings plus a group swing for the Seniors. A sports grass was installed beneath the equipment, this was laid on a shock pad ensuring the correct thickness was achieved for critical fall heights of the equipment.
At the Preparatory area we removed the existing and much smaller hexagon swing and replaced it with a 6 seat timber frame hexagon swing. We then installed a Forest Green Rubber Mulch surface beneath the swing, ensuring the correct depth for critical fall height.
